Soft tags work by utilizing the principle of electromagnetic induction. When the soft tag interacts with the detector the high frequency signal generated by the detector activates the coil in the soft tag. When the coil is activated, it changes the current and magnetic field in the coil, which generates a feedback signal.

A detector is a device used to monitor whether a soft tag has been stolen. The detector mainly consists of an antenna and a series of electronic components. The antenna is used to transmit and receive high-frequency signals. When the signal from the detector is activated by the soft tag, the antenna can receive the signal back from the soft tag.
When a soft tag is activated, the detector sends an alert signal to alert mall or supermarket staff that someone is trying to steal merchandise. The staff can then look for and solve the potential theft by way of surveillance video or patrol officers.

Do not place soft labels on products with important descriptions, such as ingredients, directions for use, warnings, sizes and bar codes, and dates of manufacture. To prevent anyone from illegally removing the label, this label is particularly sticky. If the label is removed by force, the surface of the product may be damaged.
